Parking

Although we cannot offer private parking, the neighbours on both sides of the cottage leave the space directly outside the back door, on the riverside, available for our guests, however, as it is on a public road it cannot be guaranteed. Happily, we have never had a problem parking when visiting the cottage to get it ready for our guests and, on the occasions where guests have struggled to park, they'd attempted to park on the road to the front of the cottage rather than in the space at the back.

Things to note

*This type of cottage is common to the area and what is known locally as an 'under-dwelling' and as such noise and everyday living sounds are to be expected from the cottage above.

*Due to the bathroom being located in a cellar with a vaulted ceiling, although the ceiling inside is full height, the bathroom doorway is reduced in height to less than 5 feet at the lowest point and may not be suitable for those less agile/mobile

We said it was quirky!
